1/7/12 Toledo 3 Queen City 2 Joe Skrzynski (Steele, Benyo) opened the scoring at the 4:26 mark of the first period. Queen City came back and tied the game at the 16:36 mark of the first period. The score stayed tied until the 4:46 mark of the third period when James Steele (Nagle, Skrzynski) gave the Cherokee a 2-1 lead. Once again Queen City would tie the game at the 7:55 mark of the third period. James Steele (Nagle, Skrzynski) would again team up to put the Cherokee up for good at the 14:01 mark of the third period. Austin Roudebush made 24 saves in the win. 1/8/12 Toledo 1 Queen City 7 Queen City jumped out to a four goal first period lead and never looked back. Toledo would score the lone goal of the second period when Joe Skrzynski (Steele, Benyo) found the back of the net. Queen City added three more goals in the third period for the 7-1 final.
